📖 Key Information

Lonscale Fell at 715m (2,346ft) is the eastern shoulder of Skiddaw above the River Glenderaterra, giving fine views of the Blencathra massif and east across the Northern Fells. Wainwright included it as a separate fell, noting its pleasant ridge walk from Keswick and the good views it gives of the upper Glenderaterra valley below. The ascent from Keswick is straightforward via Latrigg and the long ridge north. Often combined with Skiddaw on a long circuit from Keswick.
