📖 Key Information

Outerside at 568m (1,864ft) is a small, grassy summit between Causey Pike and the Coledale valley, giving pleasant views of the surrounding North Western Fells. Wainwright included it as a separate fell, noting its quiet character and good views of Grisedale Pike. The ascent from Braithwaite or Stoneycroft is short. Often combined with Causey Pike for a shorter circuit. A pleasant, unhurried summit.
