📖 Key Information

Whiteless Pike at 660m (2,165ft) is the southern sentinel of the Grasmoor ridge above Buttermere, a sharp, pointed summit giving excellent views of the Buttermere valley and Crummock Water. Wainwright noted the dramatic view looking down to both lakes from the summit ridge. The ascent from Buttermere village via Whiteless Breast is direct and rewarding. Most naturally combined with Wandope and Grasmoor for the full western circuit above Buttermere and Crummock Water. The lake views are excellent throughout.

🎯 Bonus Birketts within 3 km

These Birkett tops are not Wainwright summits — detour to them on this walk and they are pure profit. Distances are straight-line; allow extra for terrain.
