📖 Key Information

Grike at 488m (1,601ft) is a broad, heathery summit above Ennerdale, its open top giving views west to the coast and across to the high Lakeland fells to the east. Wainwright noted its remote, undisturbed character — a far-western fell rarely visited by the Lakeland crowds. The ascent from Ennerdale Bridge is across pleasant moorland. Often combined with Crag Fell for a short Ennerdale circuit.
