📖 Key Information

Sallows at 516m (1,693ft) is a smooth, grassy summit on the Kentmere ridge above the Troutbeck valley, its open top giving views south to Windermere and east to the Kentmere fells. Wainwright described it as a pleasant, easy ascent from the Garburn Pass track. Most naturally combined with Sour Howes as a gentle half-day outing from Troutbeck. The views of the Troutbeck valley and Windermere are pleasant from the summit.
