📖 Key Information

Selside Pike at 655m (2,149ft) is a remote summit on the moorland above Haweswater's southern end, giving views across the reservoir and east to the Pennines. Wainwright noted its position at the southern end of the Haweswater fells, a natural turnaround point for the circuit of the reservoir's eastern shore. The ascent from Swindale Head or Shap is across open moorland. Combined naturally with Branstree for a fine Haweswater eastern ridge circuit.
