White Pike (Seathwaite)
At 600 m (1,967 ft), White Pike (Seathwaite) is a Birkett (one of the 541 tops in Bill Birkett's Complete Lakeland Fells) in the Western Fells. The name combines white (Old English hwit, white), and pike (Old Norse pík, a peak).

Notes from a planned route, not walked: Birketts by Dunnerdale Fells
If you need to get off (the leg from White Maiden): Retreat north back along the grass to the Walna Scar road. Dropping off the steep, craggy western or southern flanks of White Pike is highly dangerous and trackless.
