📖 Key Information

Great Stickle at 369m (1,211ft) is a rocky fell above the Dunnerdale Fells area, its craggy top giving views across the Duddon valley to the Coniston Fells. Wainwright included it in his Outlying Fells guide. The views south to the Duddon estuary and west to the coast are good. Often combined with Stickle Pike for a short Dunnerdale circuit.

No regular bus serves the start points for this fell — this is one for the car (or a long approach from the nearest served valley). The nearest hubs are Penrith (X4/X5 & 508), Ambleside and Windermere (555, 505, 516).
