Bannisdale Fell - Long Crag

Bannisdale Fell - Long Crag at 493m (1,617ft) is the highest point of the long Bannisdale ridge south of Shap, a remote and rarely visited moorland fell giving wide views across the limestone plateau to the Pennines. Part of the Bannisdale Horseshoe circuit beloved of Birkett baggers. The ridge walk is long and exposed; the terrain is grassy with some rocky outcrops.
