📖 Key Information

Scope End at 538m (1,765ft) is the grassy ridge end above Buttermere village, giving pleasant views of the lake and the Grasmoor massif above. Wainwright included it as part of the North Western Fells, noting its pleasant short walk above Buttermere. A good evening walk for visitors staying in the village, with fine lake views throughout the ascent.
