Gummers How at 321m (1,053ft) is a small, rocky summit above the southern end of Windermere, giving one of the finest aerial views of the lake in the whole district.

If you need to get off (the leg from the start): The map shows no mapped path off the climb that reaches a road sooner than going back, so the way off is back down the public footpath to the car park and the road, never more than about 0.85 km; not walked for this guide.
