📖 Key Information

The AA cairn of Seathwaite Fell at 550m (1,804ft) is the highest point on the western edge of the Seathwaite Fell plateau above Borrowdale, marked by the Automobile Association triangulation pillar. This is the Wainwright summit — distinct from the broader plateau to the east. The views north down Borrowdale and across to Base Brown are fine. Reached from Seathwaite farm via the Styhead path and a short diversion onto the fell.

🎯 Bonus Birketts within 3 km

These Birkett tops are not Wainwright summits — detour to them on this walk and they are pure profit. Distances are straight-line; allow extra for terrain.
