Brunt Knott

Brunt Knott at 433m (1,421ft) is a heathery fell summit above Kentmere and the Longsleddale valley, giving pleasant views of the Kent valley and the Far Eastern Fells above. Wainwright included it in his Outlying Fells guide as part of the South Lakeland group. A quiet, unhurried summit in the lower fell country above the Kentmere valley. The views of the Ill Bell ridge to the north are fine.
