Two more maps: the walks we hold, and the ground itself
Two more maps join the hub. The walks map draws every route we hold — all 185 — from the GPX recorded on the day rather than a line drawn between two summits, coloured by length: 41 easy, 73 moderate, 49 hard and 22 severe. Blank ground means we have not recorded a walk there, not that there is nothing to walk. The relief map shows the shape of the ground itself, hachured from a 30-metre terrain model across the whole National Park, with the seventeen lakes and sixteen settlements marked. Neither is a navigation map — take OS Explorer OL4 to OL7 onto the hill — they are for the planning you do before you leave. The walks map →
